At H.H. Beam Elementary, academics are at the heart of everything we do. As one of Gaston County’s Innovation Schools, we focus on using proven strategies, intentional teaching, and enthusiastic support to help students grow and succeed.

Students benefit from extra instructional support, including tutoring that helps reinforce reading, math and other core subjects. Beyond the classroom, our students explore their interests and talents through music, art, robotics, and other enrichment activities. These opportunities help students build confidence, creativity and important life skills while supporting a well-rounded education.
